Place roast in center or pan. Sprinkle over the roast (salt pepper garlic powder). Then sprinkle about 1/3 of the package of onion soup mix over the roast. Add celery and mushroom soups. Do not add water. If desired, put potatoes and carrote around roast. Cover with foild and make 350 for 1 1/2 hours for medium. Open the foil, baste the meat and put back in oven for 20 minutes. Do not cover so roast can brown. Sift together the flour, powder, soda, spices and salt. Beat together sugars and eggs in large mixer until fluffy. Beat in 2 TB oil. Stire in flour mixture, alternatively with milk. Stir in applesauce and vanilla.</p><p>Carefully drop by level TBS 3 or 4 at a time into hot oil. Do not over crowd. Fry for 3 minutes, turning once. Transfer with tongs to paper towel to drain. Blend until smooth. Pour mixture into 4 qt saucepan. Rinse processor with the remaining vinegar and add to peppers. Stire in sugar and red peppers. Bring mixture to a hard boil that you cannot stir down. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Skim foam carefully leaving as many red peppers on surfaces as possible. Add food coloring and stir until blended. Pour immediately into sterilized jars.
