Southern Pecan Pie

Southern Pecan Pie
 
3 eggs well beaten
1 cup dark karo syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup pecans
2 TB butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
8 or 9" unbaked pie shell

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Mix all ingredients (except pie shell) together and pour into the unbaked pie shell.  Bake 45 minutes and allow to cool completely before cutting.
