That is the question...
1 quart water
2-3 pounds meat
4 TBS sugar (or less)
1/4 c salt
1/2 t onion powder
1/t garlic powder
1/2 tsp MSG
2/ tsp liquid smoke
1/4 t pepper, add when goes in oven
Soak 5 hours. Rinse once. Put in 150 degree oven for 8 hours or use a dehydrator.
