Baked Rhubarb

 4 cups sliced rhubarb

1 cup sugar

2 TBS water or sherry (Grandma's note says no water!)

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/2 tsp grated lemon peel


Sprinkle the rhubarb with sugar and water. Add the nutmeg and lemon peel and mix well. Turn into a buttered 2 quart baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degree for 40-45 minutes or until tender.
