Spiced Applesauce Bread

 1 1/4 c applesauce

1 c sugar

1/2 c cooking oil

2 eggs

3 T milk

Mix all together.

2 c flour

1 t soda

1/2 t baking powder

1/2 t cinnamon

1/4 t salt

1/4 nutmeg

1/4 t allspice

Sift all together and add to applesauce mixture. Add 1/2 c pecans (optional). Turn into 9x5 loaf pans that have been heavily greased.

Sprinkle over batter:

1/4 c chopped pecans

1/4 brown sugar

1/2 t cinnamon

Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees or until done.
